Wait time generally runs about 4-6 weeks - sometimes less, depending on number of orders already in hand and whatever else the Lord may have planned for our family during that time. Your 4-6 weeks BEGINS when ALL your information (measurements, fabric choices, etc) has been received.

Daddy's Little Princess has been on the web now for almost 8 years! I love being able to bless other families with my sewing. I take pride in my work and you can be assured that when you purchase a DLP creation you will receive my best. Every seam is either serged or enclosed with French seams and each outfit is lovingly packaged with my tags and hang tags. If you ever are unhappy, I hope you will take the time to let me know, and give me the opportunity to make things right. I want you to be happy and the Lord to be glorified. Our Mission When Daddy's Little Princess got its start nearly eight years ago, I was just beginning to realize how difficult it was to find the kind of clothing I wanted for my little girls. My oldest daughter was just about to make the transition from the toddler side of the aisle to the little girls' side, and the clothing available there appalled me. Unfortunately, the trends have not improved over the past several years. I realized I was not the only parent in this predicament and set my mind to make a difference. The mission both was and is, to provide a source for modest, beautiful clothing - clothing that lets little girls be little girls... How do I order? Click on the Order Form link at the bottom of each page or on the Buy Now link beside each garment. Either will take you to a printable order form. If you wish to pay by credit card, email me at heidi@daddys-little-princess.com or call (608)253-2670 and ask for Heidi. I will email you a paypal link. Paypal is the only way I can accept credit card/debit card orders. What is this "default" fabric? It's a new idea that I hope will clear up a lot of confusion. Each garment has a default fabric or type of fabric that it will be made from unless you specify otherwise. If you would like something different, you may check out the fabrics I have on hand on our Fabric page. Or you may make a special request. Please be aware that the more specific your special request, the more likely that it may add time to your order. I sent you an email but received no response. What is wrong? I have had more and more trouble as of late with emails disappearing. I have no idea why one person can receive my emails without difficulty and another person cannot. This is the main reason I'm changing the checkout format as well as making defaults for fabrics and length measurements. If you email me to check on an order status or to order by cc, and you don't hear from me, please be assured I am not deliberately ignoring you. You may call me at (608)253-2670 during regular business hours central time. How do I know what size to order? In general, my patterns tend to run truer to age than the dresses you buy in the store. For instance, I need to buy my 5 year old a size 8 in the store - mainly for length reasons, but I can make her a size L (3-5) dress and it fits perfectly. Check the charts on our Sizing page. Garments will be made to the default length unless otherwise requested. You may specify length at no extra charge, just be sure to remember to send a measurement from shoulder seam to desired length for dresses and from waist to desired hemlength for bloomers. I'd like to buy fabric and a pattern and send it to you to sew. Will you do that? Absolutely! As long as the current state of chaos allows. :) Cost will vary according to size and complexity of the pattern as well as whether the fabric is something difficult to work with. Email me or call for more information. Can you do a rush order? Sometimes. Feel free to give me a call and ask. If I can, I will. Do you give a discount for large orders? The answer is now yes. :) After some deliberation, we have decided to go with a 10 percent discount on orders of $150 or more. I wish we could do more, but our actual profit is really quite low.
